Chattanooga Lookouts wrap up first half with a loss

Leury Bonilla's three-run home run to left highlighted Jackson's four-run fifth inning in Jackson's 7-5 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts as the Generals wrapped up their successful first half with a 42-28 record. Chattanooga finished the half with a 32-36 mark.

The Lookouts took a 5-2 lead with a four-run fourth inning that was headed by Blake Smith's RBI double to right and a Nick Buss RBI single to left. The Generals took a 6-5 lead into the eighth inning and added to the advantage with Joseph Dunigan's RBI double to right.

The Lookouts are off the next three days for the Southern League all-star break and will open the second half Thursday night at 7:15, when Pensacola makes its first trip to AT&T Field.

The Lookouts and Blue Wahoos will announce their starters closer to Thursday.
