The Chattanooga Lookouts had a chance at three straight victories after losing 11 games in a row, but the Huntsville Stars had other plans.
Mike Walker's two-out double to left field off Ymi Garcia in the seventh inning scored Jason Rogers and Brock Kjeldgaard to propel the Stars to a 3-2 win and a Saturday night split at AT&T Field.
The Lookouts won Saturday's opening game 5-1 and are now 16-32 in the Southern League's second half entering today's 2:15 series finale. The opening win was a completion of Friday night's game, which was halted after the first inning with Chattanooga leading 3-0.
Zach Lee allowed three hits in six scoreless innings to pace the Lookouts in the opener. Jeremy Moore singled to center to score Matt Wallach in the second inning to put Chattanooga up 4-0, and an Angelo Songco single to center in the seventh scored Brian Cavazos-Galvez to make it 5-0.
The Lookouts also started quickly in the second game, which was shortened to seven innings. J.T. Wise hit a two-run home run to left in the first inning, and Andres Santiago gave up one hit in six innings.
Santiago's one hit allowed was a Jason Rogers home run to left in the fourth that pulled Huntsville within a run.
