JACKSON, Tenn. -- A four-run sixth inning gave the Jackson Generals a 4-1 Southern League baseball win over Chattanooga on Tuesday.
It was the final road game of the season for the Lookouts, who dropped to 58-76 overall and 23-41 in the second half of the season.
Chattanooga took a 1-0 lead when Griff Erickson opened the fifth inning with a home run to left field. The Generals tied the game on a John Hicks RBI single to left and went up 3-1 when Leon Landry hit a two-run single to center. Jackson scored its fourth run on a Jarret Martin wild pitch.
The Lookouts are off today and host the Tennessee Smokies on Thursday night at 7:15. Ross Stripling (6-3, 2.79 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts.
