JACKSON, Tenn. - The Jackson Generals rallied to edge the Chattanooga Lookouts 5-4 in their Southern League baseball game suspended from Sunday and then won Monday's regularly scheduled game 2-1.

Starting pitcher Duke von Schamann had a dominating debut for Chattanooga, racking up 10 strikeouts and allowing three hits in six innings of the full seven-inning game. His third hit was a double by Gabriel Noriega that opened the seventh inning, and von Schamann was replaced by Hector Nelo, who gave up a James Jones single to left field and a Julio Morban two-run single to center that clinched the win for Jackson.

Jackson pulled into a 3-all tie and then went up 5-3 on Ji-Man Choi's two-run home run to right in the seventh inning. The Lookouts (31-33) pulled within 5-4 in the ninth on Rafael Ynoa's homer to right.

The finale of the five-game series is today at 1:05 p.m. EDT. Ross Stripling (1-1, 3.70 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Anthony Fernandez (2-1, 6.83) scheduled for the Generals.
