Blue Wahoos end Chattanooga Lookouts' win streak

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Pensacola Blue Wahoos defeated the Chattanooga Lookouts 5-1 in Southern League baseball Monday night.

The home team halted Chattanooga's three-game winning streak by roughing up Lookouts starting pitcher Chris Reed for three first-inning runs. Travis Mattair's single to center field scored Bryson Smith, and Tucker Barnhart's single to center scored Steve Selsky and Mattair.

The Lookouts (15-22) trailed 5-0 entering the ninth inning but got on the board when a two-out double to right by Chris Jacobs scored C.J. Retherford.

Game three of the five-game series is tonight at 8 EDT. Andres Santiago (2-4, 4.19 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Daniel Renkin (1-3, 3.67) listed for the Blue Wahoos.
