Lookouts win 10th in row, 4-3

Yasiel Puig tripled to center field with two out in the ninth inning and scored on a fielding error as Chattanooga won its 10th consecutive Southern League baseball game Thursday night, 4-3 over the BayBears in Mobile.

The league record for consecutive victories was set at 16 by Montgomery in 1968. Puig had a sacrifice fly to left in the fourth inning to give the Lookouts (26-27) their first lead at 3-2, and he finished 3-for-4 to raise his team-leading batting average to .322.

Game four of the five-game series is tonight at 8:05 EDT. Rob Rasmussen (3-2, 2.68 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Michael Bolsinger (3-0, 3.18) listed for the BayBears.
