Javier Baez hit a two-run home run and Christian Villanueva also homered in the first inning, both to left field, to give Tennessee a lead it would never relinquish Saturday night in a 4-3 Southern League baseball win at Chattanooga.

The Lookouts lost to the Smokies before an announced sellout crowd of 6,393.

Joc Pederson homered to right later in the first inning to pull Chattanooga within 3-1. A John Andreoli RBI single to left in the fifth enabled the Smokies to reclaim a three-run lead, but the Lookouts (23-44) got within one later in the fifth on RBIs by Miguel Rojas and Rafael Ynoa.

Saturday night's game included fireworks, and there will be fireworks following tonight's 6:15 game as well.
