Jacksonville Suns edge Chattanooga Lookouts in 13th, 3-2

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Alex Burg's single to right field with one out in the 13th inning gave the Jacksonville Suns a 3-2 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts in Southern League baseball Saturday night.

It was the fifth loss in a row for the Lookouts, who dropped to 6-11 in the second half of the season despite taking a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning when Daniel Mayora's single to right scored Noel Cuevas and Scott Schebler.

Burg's hit in the 13th scored Isaac Galloway, who led off the at-bat with a walk and went to second on a sacrifice bunt. Chattanooga reliever Mike Thomas walked Terrence Dayleg intentionally before Burg's hit ended the game.

Dayleg went 3-for-5. His home run in the fifth inning and his score on Austin Nola's single in the seventh tied the score at 2.

Game three of the five-game series is today at 3:05 p.m. Chris Reed (4-6, 3.23 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts, with Matt Montgomery (1-1, 4.78) scheduled for the Suns.
