MOBILE, Ala. - The Chattanooga Lookouts avoided a series sweep with a 6-5, 10-inning Southern League win Monday afternoon against the Mobile BayBears.

In the top of the 10th, O'Koyea Dickson drew a one-out walk, took second on a Ryan Adams single to center field and scored on Chris O'Brien's sacrifice fly to center.

Dickson led off the second inning with a home run to left to put the Lookouts (17-27) up 1-0, but Jon Griffin answered by leading off Mobile's second with a homer to left-center. Griffin's blast wound up being the first of five BayBears hits that inning, which gave them a 4-1 advantage.

Mobile led 5-4 entering the seventh, when Noel Cuevas led off with a double to center and came around to score to tie the game.

Game one of the Lookouts' five-game home series against Mississippi at AT&T Field is Wednesday night at 7:15. Nick Struck (0-2, 5.28 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts, with Williams Perez (2-3, 1.88) scheduled for the Braves.

• Lookouts outfielder Jeremy Hazelbaker was named Monday as Southern League hitter of the week after producing four multihit games that raised his average from .269 to .302.
