D.J. Baxendale pitched four scoreless innings Tuesday night to propel the Chattanooga Lookouts to an 8-0 victory over Chattanooga State in their annual exhibition at AT&T Field.

Tigers center fielder Hunter Parker made a catch against the wall in the bottom of the first inning to prevent an extra-base hit by Miguel Sano, but D.J. Hicks followed with a two-run home run to right-center that put the Lookouts up 2-0.

The Lookouts increased the advantage to 4-0 in the second inning when Byron Buxton's single to left scored Stuart Turner and Levi Michael, and they scored four runs in the third.
