Simmons homer leads rally in Braves' 5-2 win over Phillies

PHILADELPHIA - Andrelton Simmons led off the seventh inning with a homer, sparking a rally that helped the Atlanta Braves beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-2 on Saturday night.

The Braves scored three runs in the seventh and chased David Buchanan (0-4) while snapping a four-game losing streak. Chris Johnson had an RBI single and Eric Young Jr. delivered a go-ahead double that lifted Atlanta to a 3-2 lead. The Braves scored two more in the eighth.

Jason Grilli worked a scoreless ninth for his seventh save.

Shelby Miller (3-0) allowed two runs and three hits over six innings in his third straight win.

Ryan Howard hit a two-run homer for the Phillies.
