Vargas homers twice in Lookouts' 5-3 win

Kennys Vargas homered to right field in the sixth inning and homered to left-center in the ninth as the Chattanooga Lookouts won 5-3 at Biloxi, Miss., on Saturday night and clinched their first winning series of the Southern League's second half.

The first-half North Division champions have won four of their last five games after a 3-13 start this half.

Chattanooga's Max Kepler doubled to right in the first inning to score Niko Goodrum, and Kepler walked in the fourth inning and scored on an Adam Walker single to left.

Game five of the five-game series in Biloxi is tonight at 6:10 EDT. David Hurlbut (5-4, 4.78 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Jorge Lopez (8-3, 2.58) scheduled for the Shuckers.
