Joey Rickard's single to left field in the seventh inning scored Leonardo Reginatto to break a 3-3 tie Saturday evening and catapult Montgomery to a third consecutive win over visiting Chattanooga to open the Southern League's second half.
The Biscuits won 7-3.
The Lookouts, who closed the first half with 14 wins in 16 games, pulled into the 3-3 tie in the sixth inning on Adam Walker's two-run home run to left-center. It was his 21st homer of the season.
Game four of the five-game series in Montgomery is tonight at 6:35 EDT. All-Star winning pitcher Jose Berrios (7-3, 3.21 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Jamie Schultz (5-3, 3.55) scheduled for the Biscuits.
