Lookouts lose 5-3 to Biscuits despite two homers

Every batter in the Chattanooga lineup had a hit Monday night except for Stephen Wickens, but the Southern League's first-half North Division winners lost 5-3 loss at Montgomery, Ala.

Adam Brett Walker II and Niko Goodrum each hit a solo home run in defeat. The host Biscuits scored a run in the second inning and three in the third, on Cameron Seitzer's homer, and got the pitching win from Blake Snell (5-2). The loss went to Jason Wheeler (0-1).

Chattanooga is off today. Game one of a three-game home series against Birmingham at AT&T Field is Wednesday night at 7:15. David Hurlbut (3-3, 6.53 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Myles Jaye (6-3, 2.93) scheduled for the Barons.

Lookouts third baseman Miguel Sano was named Monday as the Southern League hitter of the week. Sano hit .588 with seven extra-base hits and drove in seven runs.
