Former Chattanooga Lookouts Harmon Killebrew and Trevor Hoffman are among the 12 new inductees to the Southern League Hall of Fame, the league announced this week.

Razor Shines, who managed the Lookouts last season to their first berth in the Southern League title series since 1996, also is being inducted.

Killebrew drove in 101 runs for the 1957 Lookouts and batted .308 in 1958 before hitting 573 major league home runs. Hoffman made 20 appearances with the Lookouts as a relief pitcher during the 1991 and '92 seasons, posting earned run averages of 1.93 and 1.52.

Others getting inducted later this year are Scott Brosius, Carlos Delgado, Rollie Fingers, Randy Johnson, Chipper Jones, Jason Kendall, Frank Thomas, Turner Ward and Lou Whitaker. Jones hit .346 with the 1992 Greenville Braves and was promoted to Atlanta in 1993, where he played until retiring after the 2012 season.

This is the second induction class for the Southern League, with the inaugural crop containing Frank Burke, the owner of the Lookouts from 1995 until earlier this week.
