Lookouts win on Sano homer in 10th

The Chattanooga Lookouts stayed hot by edging the Barons 7-5 in Birmingham in 10 innings after rallying from a 4-1 deficit Friday night.

Heiker Meneses scored Adam Walker II with a tying sacrifice fly in the ninth and Miguel Sano blasted a two-run homer after an error in the 10th. That was the second homer of the game for Sano, who like Jorge Polanco was 3-for-5. Walker was 2-for-5 and matched those two by scoring twice.

Third Lookouts pitcher Nick Burdi got the win, and D.J. Johnson notched his third save. Christian Marrero was 3-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored for the Barons.

The Lookouts (22-13) host Montgomery at 7:15 tonight in the opener of a five-game series at AT&T Field. Alex Wimmers (1-0, 5.67 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for Chattanooga; Bradin Hagens (1-3, 3.67) is scheduled for the Biscuits.
