The German-born Kepler hit .407 last week with five doubles and two home runs.

Chattanooga's game Monday night in Mobile was called off after two scoreless innings due to lightning and rain. The game will not be rescheduled since the Lookouts (28-16) and BayBears do not meet again in the first half.

The Lookouts are off today and will begin a five-game series Wednesday night at 7:15 with Biloxi at AT&T Field.
