The Chattanooga Lookouts were hitless during the first three innings of Monday night's second seven-inning game against the Tennessee Smokies at AT&T Field.

It was a different story in the fourth.

Chattanooga sent nine batters to the plate that inning and scored five runs, breaking a scoreless tie and erupting for a 5-0 victory. The win salvaged a doubleheader split for the Lookouts, who lost the first seven-inning game 7-4.

Lamonte Wade ended Daniel Corcino's no-hit bid with a single to center field in the fourth inning of the second game, and the Lookouts loaded the bases when Travis Harrison and Jonathan Rodriguez drew walks. Dan Gamache's single to left scored Wade and Harrison to put the Lookouts up 2-0, and, following a Tanner English walk, Ryan Walker's single to right scored Rodriguez, Gamache and English to give Chattanooga its five-run bulge.

Matt Tracy got the pitching win for the Lookouts, allowing three hits in six innings while striking out five.

The Smokies pounced on Lookouts starter Kohl Stewart in the opening game, with David Bote's double to left that scored Charcer Burks and Jacob Hannemann highlighting a three-run first inning. Stewart allowed four runs on five hits and four walks in three innings and dropped to 0-4 this season with a 6.46 earned run average.

Tennessee took a 7-1 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning, when the Lookouts scored three runs. Rodriguez doubled to left to score Engelb Vielma and Wade.
