North Division leader Chattanooga scored a couple of runs early and a couple more late for a 4-0 Southern League baseball win Thursday night in front of a crowd of 2,913 at Montgomery.
The Lookouts' Felix Jorge (9-2) was relieved by Nick Anderson (fifth save) with two out in the eighth inning after allowing four hits and two walks while striking out five. Ryan Walker and Levi Michael hit one-out RBI singles in the second and third innings. Walker doubled in the other runs in the ninth.
Chattanooga begins a five-game home series against Jackson tonight at 7:15 at AT&T Field. Stephen Gonsalves (7-3, 2.90 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Ryan Atkinson (1-0, 1.69) scheduled for the Generals.
