Chattanooga Lookouts shut out in series finale at Jackson

Wednesday's recap: Jackson starting pitcher Ryan Atkinson worked nearly six scoreless innings and recorded seven strikeouts while picking up the win. The Generals took a 1-0 lead in the second inning when Daniel Lockhart, Oscar Hernandez and Galli Cribbs pieced together three consecutive two-out singles. They added two more runs in the fifth, including one on a throwing error by Chattanooga catcher Brian Navaretto.

Next up: Game one of a five-game series against Montgomery at AT&T Field is tonight at 7:15.

Pitchers: Zack Littell (4-0, 3.03) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, while the Biscuits will make a game-day decision.
