A Jordan Morris goal in the 59th minute following a pass from Benny Feilhaber propelled the United States men's national soccer team to a 1-0 win over Jamaica in a Friday night friendly at Finley Stadium.

An announced crowd of 17,903 attended the match, which had a starting temperature of 37 degrees with a wind chill of 30. The temperature had dropped to 34 (wind chill 27) in the final minutes.

The victory was the first for the U.S. national team under Bruce Arena, who was hired last November for a second stint after the firing of Jurgen Klinsmann. The goal by Morris was the first by the Americans since a 2-1 loss to Mexico on Nov. 11 in the "Hexagonal" qualifier for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Next up for the U.S. team is a Hexagonal match against Honduras on March 24 in San Jose, Calif.
