The Chattanooga Football Club has an undefeated record in 2017 when scoring multiple goals in matches.

Scoring multiple goals this evening may be important for the National Premier Soccer League team's season to continue.

The Chattanooga FC has its in-season home finale at 7:30 tonight against Inter Nashville FC in a play-in game into the NPSL Southeast Conference playoffs. The other play-in match has Asheville playing at Atlanta. Winners tonight advance to Friday's semifinals in New Orleans, with the Atlanta- Asheville winner facing the top-seeded host Jesters and the CFC-Nashville winner taking on Knoxville, which won the East division.

Regardless of this week's results, CFC will have a home match July 19 against Asheville in the first Blue Ridge Derby match at Finley Stadium.

CFC has 22 goals in its last six matches, good enough for a 4-2 record. The losses were by identical 2-1 finals, June 28 against Memphis City and July 1 at Nashville. CFC also has a 2-1 win over Nashville.

Chattanooga is 7-0 this season, 6-0 in league play, when scoring more than one goal, with an 0-2-4 record in games with fewer than two. Felipe Antonio leads the team with six goals. Jose Ferraz is second with four, while Leo De Smedt and Luke Winter have finished three shots each, with all three of the former's coming in a July 4 win over Georgia.

Danny Whitehall has a pair of goals this season, while 12 others have one goal each.

"It's time to even out that record. Inter is a really strong team. Kudos to them for building such a strong program," CFC coach Bill Elliott said in a news release. "But we're playing some really great football right now, and I expect us to step up."
