The Chattanooga Lookouts were the victims of excellent pitching and one bad inning in a 4-1 Southern League baseball loss Tuesday night in Pensacola, Fla.

Chattanooga (14-5 in the league's second half) held a 1-0 lead after seven innings, the run coming on Max Murphy's two-out home run in the fifth inning. But the host Blue Wahoos (10-9) rallied against relief pitcher Ryan Eades in the eighth to load the bases with one out.

Another Chattanooga reliever, Randy Rosario, was greeted by Tyler Goeddel's two-run double, an RBI fielder's choice from Josh VanMeter and Gavin LaValley's run-scoring single for the 4-1 lead.

Lookouts starting pitcher Fernando Romero was stellar with five innings of scoreless, two-hit, five-strikeout pitching.

The finale of the four-game series is tonight at 7:35 EDT.
