Lookouts unable to sweep BayBears

- Sunday's recap: Chattanooga stumbled early and couldn't catch up late in its bid to sweep a five-game series at Mobile. Lookouts starting pitcher Felix Jorge exited after just 2 2/3 innings, chased by Troy Montgomery's line-drive RBI single to right field that made it 6-0. Chattanooga ended the shutout on Andy Wilkins' solo home run in the fourth and cut the deficit to two runs in the eighth, when Max Murphy slugged an RBI double and Alex Perez delivered a two-run single. With two out in the top of the ninth, Wilkins singled and White walked, but BayBears reliever Michael Dimock coaxed a groundout to end the game and earn the save. Lookouts relievers Todd Van Steensel, Paul Clemens and Luke Bard combined on 5 1/3 scoreless innings and allowed just six baserunners.

- Next up: The opener of a five-game series against Birmingham at AT&T Field is at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.

- Pitchers: Jordan Stephens (1-2, 1.33) is scheduled to start for the Barons, with Chattanooga's starter not yet announced.
