Lookouts miss big opportunity in ninth, lose in Biloxi

SHUCKERS 4, LOOKOUTS 0

Friday's recap: Biloxi had a 2-0 lead by the time Chattanooga put its first runner on base in the fourth inning, but Ryan Strausborger was stranded then and on two other occasions on a quiet offensive night for the Lookouts. The Shuckers added a run apiece in the fourth and sixth, and the Lookouts - who struck out nine times and left six runners on base in the game - were unable to produce after loading the bases with one out in the ninth against reliever Jon Perrin. Strausborger and Jonathan Rodriguez sandwiched Lamonte Wade's single to fill the bags, but Perrin collected a strikeout and flyout to escape the threat.

Next up: Game three of a five-game series in Biloxi is tonight at 7:35 EDT.

Pitchers: Randy LeBlanc (2-1, 4.50) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Junior Guerra (0-1, 3.60) scheduled for the Shuckers.
