Chattanooga Lookouts defeat Blue Wahoos

UPDATE: Tonight's series opener between the Chattanooga Lookouts and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at AT&T Field has been postponed due to the field being unplayable following the heavy rains this past weekend.

The game will be scheduled as part of a doubleheader Wednesday that will begin at 5:15.

LOOKOUTS 5, BLUE WAHOOS 4

Sunday's recap: T.J. White, Ryan Walker and Wynston Sawyer homered as Chattanooga won its third straight game to even its record at 5-5. White singled to left field in the first inning to score Zander Wiel to put the Lookouts up 1-0, and his homer to left in the third scored Wiel again. Walker opened up the fifth with a homer to right-center, with Sawyer collecting his homer in the eighth, which put the guests up 5-3. Wiel went 3-for-4 and scored twice.

Next up: Game one of a five-game series against Jacksonville at AT&T Field is tonight at 7:15.

Pitchers: Zack Littell (0-1, 5.40) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts. The Jumbo Shrimp had Sunday's game rained out.
