Lookouts fall 3-2 at Jacksonville

Joe Dunand's home run to left-center field in the seventh inning broke a 2-2 tie and propelled Jacksonville to a 3-2 Southern League baseball victory Monday night over the visiting Chattanooga Lookouts.

The Jumbo Shrimp entered the seventh trailing 2-0 but tied the game on Isan Diaz's two-run homer to right.

Chattanooga took its 2-0 lead in the sixth inning on a Taylor Motter double to right, a Zander Wiel RBI double to center and a Jaylin Davis RBI single to center.

The Lookouts dropped to 5-13 in the Southern League's second half and to 41-46 overall for 2018.

Game three of the four-game series in Jacksonville is tonight at 7:05. The Lookouts will make a game-day decision on their starting pitcher, while Robert Dugger (1-2, 6.25) will start for the Jumbo Shrimp.
