Lookouts shut out in Birmingham

* Thursday's road recap: Birmingham starter Dane Dunning scattered four hits while lasting eight innings, and Ian Hamilton worked around Edgar Corcino's two-out double in the ninth to save a shutout as the Lookouts struggled at the plate. Chattanooga's biggest offensive threat came in the sixth, when Dunning got the top of the inning's third out on a swinging strike with Brian Navaretto on second and Sean Miller on first. Birmingham outhit the Lookouts' 11-5, but all of the scoring came in the middle of the game - on Ryan Brett's two-run homer in the fourth and Trey Michalczewski's RBI single in the fifth.

* Pitchers: Kohl Stewart (3-4, 5.56) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, while the Barons will make a game-day decision.
