The big-time Walmart FLW Tour will come to Chickamauga Lake next week with Wesley Strader of Spring City in first place in the points standings. He has led since the second tournament of the season and stayed in the top spot with 771 points with a fourth-place finish this past weekend on Lake Eufaula. Tourney winner Bryan Thrift of Shelby, N.C., is second with 753 points. Thrift weighed 69 pounds, 14 ounces of bass at Eufaula, where Troy Morrow of Eastanollee, Ga., was second with 66-15 and Clent Davis of Montevallo, Ala., was third with 66-1 ahead of Strader's 63-1, good for $19,855. The June 11-14 tournament on Chickamauga will be run out of Dayton Boat Dock in Strader's home county. Dayton's own Andy Morgan was the Angler of the Year in 2013 and 2014 and is ninth in points this year; he was third at Beaver Lake a month ago. Another Dayton fisherman, Michael Neal, has a podcast accessible on the series' home page at www.flwfishing.com.
