Davis Tull, who was a four-time All-American at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, was selected with the 148th pick of the 2015 NFL Draft on Saturday by the New Orleans Saints.
Tull finished his career with a Southern Conference-record 37 sacks in four seasons. After being named a freshman All-American by College Sports Journal in 2011, he was a three-time Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year selection and three-time Football Championship Series All-American.
He becomes the first Moc to be drafted since B.J. Coleman was selected in the seventh round by the Green Bay Packers after the 2012 season.
"It would be an incredible feeling (to get drafted)," Tull said earlier this week. "It's a culmination of a lot of hard work, a lot of support and a lot of emotion. For a split second, you let the feeling hit you - the hard work to get there."
