Patricia Scannapiego

Patricia "Pat" Luellen Scannapiego, 70, of Germantown, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Baptist Hospital, Memphis.Born Sept. 1, 1939 in Salt Lick, Ky., she was a mother, homemaker, and retired Sears Roebuck employee at Northgate Mall in Chattanooga. She previously resided in Muncie, Ind., Chattanooga and Baton Rouge, La.She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus R. and Emily P. Johnson,; her first husband, Dean D. Luellen; her mother-in-law, Lucille Scannapiego; and a granddaughter, Bailey Kathleen Luellen.Survivors include her husband, Ken A Scannapiego; children, Todd D. (Darly) Luellen, of Mobile, Ala., Cory A. (Cindy Akard) Luellen, of Menlo Park, Calif., Kara Luellen (Drew) Clippard, of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Jason K. (Jana) Luellen, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jacob Douglas Luellen, Carter Monroe Luellen, of Mobile, Ala., Emily Parker Luellen and Anderson Parrish Luellen, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; stepchildren, Lenore J. Choate, David C. Scannapiego and Kenneth E. (Ede) Scannapiego; stepgrandchildren, Casey Choate and Austin Choate, Lauren Scannapiego, Sarah Scannapiego, Evan Scannapiego, Will Scannapiego, all of Cleveland, Tenn.; a brother, Ray (Janice) Johnson, of Green Forest, Ark.; sister-in-law, Rosemarie (Mike) Forgarty, of Bethlehem, Pa.; and a nephew, Mark (Joy) Johnson.Funeral was held in Memphis.Burial will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation.
