Della Bethune

ROSSVILLE Della Elizabeth Bethune, 75, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010.She was a lifelong resident of Walker County and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister that will be missed."Liz" was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Strickland and Gladys Strickland Roberts; and five siblings.She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gerald Bethune; daughter, Ann Watkins (Robert); sons, Lebron Bethune (Karon) and Rex Bethune, all of Rossville; three sisters, Frances, Norma and Genice; one brother Curtis; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jackie Swanson officiating.Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today, Nov. 17, 2010 and prior to the service Thursday.Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, J.
