Jeri Lunsford

Jeri J. Lunsford, 73, of Signal Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010.Mrs. Lunsford was born in Fulton County, Ga., to L. W. and Mary Lunsford. She retired from Georgia State University as an Executive Secretary, and was a member of the Christian Church of Disciples in Christ. She was an avid volunteer at Chattanooga Area Food Bank and past president of South Fulton County Womens Club.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ernest Lunsford and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Meri Jill Lunsford and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at the funeral home.Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist. 404 South Moore Road.
