Marie Horne

Margaret Marie Wolff Horne, 76, died on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010.She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, a graduate of Red Bank High School and a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. She loved by all for her kindness and gentle nature, enjoyed studying the Bible and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Carlos Horne Sr.; and her brothers, Charles Wolff and Carl Wolff.Survivors include her children, Carlos (Tina) Horne Jr., Terri Horne King, Dennis (Karen) Horne, Patrick (Kim) Horne; grandchildren, Robert and Logan DeBinder, Cortney Horne, Kristen Casteel, Cody, Cory, Alexis, Miriam, Taylor and Jadyn Horne; great-grandchildren, Hadley Grace DeBinder; brother, Glenn (Clara) Wolff; sister-in-law, Evelyn Wolff and Betty Wolff; several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home.Interment will follow the service at Chattanooga National Cemetery.Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday and 10-11:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Drive, Suite 8, Chattanooga, TN 37421.Memories and condolences may be shared at williamsonandson.com.Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
