LaFAYETTE Jimmy "Hollywood" Hollis, 73, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010.Preceded in death by the late Herman E. and Ruby Nell Hollis; daughter, Melissa Hollis; brother, Bill Hollis; sisters, Sandra Wilson and Sara E. Hollis.Survived by daughter, Casey Hollis, of LaFayette; sons, Josh Hollis, of LaFayette, and Martin Hollis, of Buford, Ga.; sister, Kay White, of Rossville; brothers, Ben Hollis, of Chattanooga, Barry and wife, Gloria Hollis, of LaFayette, Tim and wife, Shawn Hollis, of Rossville; grandchildren, Tanner Hollis, Fort Oglethorpe, Devin Rosser, of Ringgold, and Courtney Hollis, of LaFayette; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Bay Hollis.Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel Friday at 11 a.m. Service conducted by Rev. Mike Peterson.Interment in Chattanooga National Cemetery.Family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6-8 p.m.The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, of LaFayette.
