Marie McCormack

ROSSVILLE Marie McCormack, 79, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010. She was born in Smithville, Tenn., but moved to Rossville in 1986. Marie was a member of Boynton United Methodist Church, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend that will be missed.She was preceded in death by her parents, Jody and Violet Arnold; and her sister, Jewell Phillips.She is survived by her husband, Mack McCormack; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Carlon LaFever, of Soddy-Daisy; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Dallas Owens, of Gallatin, Tenn.; stepsons and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Kathy Henry, of Rossville and Steven McCormack, of Milton, Fla.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. CDT Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, in the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, Tenn., with the Rev. Terry Little officiating.Interment to follow at Dekalb Memorial Gardens, Smithville, Tenn.
