Caroline desGranges Wallis, 92, of Signal Mountain, passed away on Monday April 4, 2011, at Alexian Village. Mrs. Wallis was born in Boston, Mass. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Herbert Wallis; and a son, Paul Wallis.She is survived by her sons, Donald Wallis, Signal Mountain, Joel Wallis and friend Paula Baudoux, Fairfield, Iowa; grandchildren, Chasie Wallis, Nashville, Briggs Wallis, Boulder, Colo., MacGregor Wallis, Bess Wallis, both of Signal Mountain; niece, Judy Sebelius and nephew, Joe Millen, both of Memphis, Tenn.Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2011, at Alexian Village Health Care Center Chapel.In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the charity of your choice.Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga.
