HARRISON Charles Arthur LaFevor, 74, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011.A McMinnville native, he had been a Chattanooga area resident since the 1940s.Charles was a 1954 graduate of Central High School and a 1960 graduate of Southern College of Pharmacy. A Chattanooga pharmacist for 45 years, he had operated LaFevor Pharmacy on Highway 58 and other pharmacies. He was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church. An avid fisherman, he was a member of Bass Masters.Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles T. LaFevor and Bernice Mae Wiser LaFevor, and a sister, Tommie D. Dedmon.Surviving are his wife, Jimmie L. LaFevor; daughters, Dreeanna Patrick, of The Villages, Fla., Denise (Ricky) Walker, of Daytona Beach, Fla., Debbie (Mitch) Proenza, of Atlanta, Ga., Chi Chi Biggs and Garth Ables, of Chattanooga; sons, Tim (Michelle) LaFevor, of Chattanooga and Phil (Jackie) Cannon, of South Pittsburg, Tenn.; grandchildren: Leslie Patrick, Kevin McCormick, Kyle McCormick, Ryan Walker, Joseph Proenza, Thomas Proenza, Chase Biggs, Baili Biggs, Jonathan LaFevor, Marissa LaFevor; brother, Wayne LaFevor, of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home, the Rev. Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Cumberland View Cemetery, Kimball, Tenn.The family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-8 p.m. today.Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home Inc., Highway 58 Chapel, 622-3171.
