Chester Higdon

Chester "Chet" Higdon, 65, of the Daus Community, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011, surrounded by his loved ones. Chet ran the salvage yard in Daus for several decades.He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Frances Higdon; brothers, Gray, Bob and Tom Higdon.Chet is survived by his sister, Betty (Bill) Layne, Dunlap; brothers, Richard Higdon, Herschel (Brenda) Higdon, and Larry Higdon, all of Daus; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.Service will be at 11 a.m. CDT Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brad Bryan and Rev.
