Tim Swanson

TRION Joel Timothy Swanson, 57, passed away Friday, April 29, 2011. He was born Jan. 28, 1954, to the late Harry and Clara Swanson in LaFayette. He was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church and he loved to play country music on his guitar. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Steve Swanson. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Wooten Swanson, of Trion; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Brooke Swanson, of LaFayette; sister, Jean (Charles) Littlejohn, of Enterprise, Ala.; brothers, Phillip Swanson and James David Swanson, of LaFayette; granddaughter, Alexis Swanson. Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011, in Mount Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Monday and prior to departing for the service on Tuesday.
