Jennieve Yarbrough

Jennieve B. Yarbrough, 95, of Chattanooga, quietly departed this life Friday, April 29, 2011. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of Spring Creek Road Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was previously the Resident Manager of Casa Loma Apartments in East Ridge. She volunteered for Contact and weekly took cakes and pies to the East Ridge Nursing Home. Mrs. Yarbrough was the widow of Ernest Porter Yarbrough Sr., and is survived by two sons, Robert (Lynne) and Porter Yarbrough and one daughter, Shonnye Lynn Yarbrough. Grandchildren are Jill Yarbrough, Kristie (Mark) Danby, Michele (Ronnie) Bull, Chad Howard, Adam Howard, John Howard, Michele Pressnell, and Jackson Pressnell, Kristen Carter and Brian Carter. Great-grandchildren are Garrett Bull, Fany Bull, Travis (Erika) Bull, Jill (Brian) Knam, Haleigh Shell, Hayden Knam, Javalynn Bull, Colin Bull and Anna and Markie Danby.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011, the new Chattanooga Funeral Home on E. Brainerd Road.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, May 2, 2011, at the funeral home with Pastor James Julian of Spring Creek Road Baptist Church officiating. The interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery next to her beloved husband, Ernest.
