Patsy Pittman

Patsy Ruth Pittman, 71, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at her home in Chattanooga.Patsy was born in Chattanooga, to parents Wilburn Woods and Stella Hooks Hill. Patsy was so loving and generous not only to her children and grandchildren but to all of Gods children she came in contact with. She lived a life of servant hood and loved nothing more than singing Gospel hymns and being with loved ones old and new.She will be sorely missed by her children, Rhonda (Mike) Glenn, Cathy Lord and Mike Lord; grandchildren, Steven (Christina) Boyd and Erin Boyd; great-grandchildren, Sara and Megan Boyd and Chloe Stokes.She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Ray Pittman.At her request no funeral will be held. However, a Celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Cedar Hill Community Center, 4501 13th Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37407.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for the missions outreach projects sponsored by the Jones Memorial United Methodist Women, 4131 Ringgold Road, Chattanooga, TN 37412.
