Emma Burgess, departed this life Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Memorial North Park Hospital in Chattanooga.She was the eighth and last child of the late Moses Allen and Carrie Boyd Allen-Smith, was born Nov. 15, 1926 in Five Points, Ala.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today in the chapel with the Rev. George E. Woodruff Jr. officiating.Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery.Arrangements are by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
