Richard Lamar "Lmar" Sullivan, 60, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012, at St. Barnabas Nursing Home.He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Sullivan; and father, Walter Sullivan Sr.Survivors include his daughter, Veronica Sullivan; two grandsons, Najee Laboo and Miikah Sullivan, all of Chattanooga; two brothers, Walter Sullivan Jr., of Chattanooga and Kenneth (Jean) Sullivan, of Coleen, Texas; one sister, Constance (Tyrone) Chubbs of Chattanooga; two nieces, Kizzy (Marlon) Evans, of Chattanooga and Shonta (Tilman) McReynolds, of Powder Springs, Ga.; three nephews, Antonio Sullivan Sr., of Chattanooga, Marlon (Deondra) McCurdy, of Atlanta, and Maurice Timmons, of Nashville; great-nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Greater Tucker Baptist Church with the Rev. Lydell Lovelace officiating.Interment in Highland Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
