DAYTON Josephine Elaine Morgan, 79, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012.A lifelong resident of Rhea county, member of the First Baptist Church, Dayton. She was a co-owner and operator of Morgan Furniture in Dayton for many years.She was preceded in death by her parents, John McClure Sr. and Cornia Thurman McClure. She will be laid to rest by her husband, and son, Whitney Sam Morgan, Whitney M.C. Morgan.Suvivors include, one son, Terry (Kyanne) Morgan, of San Antonio, TX; three sisters Thelma Housley, of Dayton, Jane (Jim) Arthur, of Hixson, Tenn., Phyllis (Ray) Payne, of Dayton; Five grandchildren, Ava Josephine Morgan, Curtis Hickman, Joey Morgan, Justin and Nick Sanderlin; 2 great-grandchildren, Samuel Hickman, Josie Hickman; Several nieces and nephews.Services will be held today at 4 p.m. at the Chapel Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home.Interment will be held at Smith-Wilkey Cemetery.Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, Amedesis Hospice, Athens, Tenn.Arrangements by Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home Inc., Dayton, Tenn. 37321Please visit www.coultergarrisonfuneralhome.com to share condolences.
