Nancy Carney

Nancy Carolyn Carney, 70, of North Charleston, S.C., died Thursday, April 12, 2012, at the Hospice Center of Charleston, Mount Pleasant.Mrs. Carney was born Nov. 2, 1941 in Decatur, Ala. She was a graduate of Trinity University in El Paso, Texas where she received her bachelors degree in journalism. She enjoyed watching sports and retired from the Chattanooga Times Free Press.She is survived by her son, James Carney and his wife, Brooke, of Summerville.She was predeceased by her twin sister, Donna Wallace.Service and burial will be private.
