Noah Shields

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. Noah Geoffrey Shields, 14, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 23, 2012.He was born in Chattanooga on April 9, 1998 to Greg Shields and Jeana Bible. He enjoyed playing video games and swimming. He loved baseball and was a Red Sox fan. Noah attended River Oaks Middle School and was a star student. He was Student Ambassador for the District School Board. He also played trumpet in the school band. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol ROTC.Noah is survived by his father, William Gregory Shields, of Summerville, S.C.; mother, Jeana Shields, of Summerville; stepmother, Stacie Shields, of Summerville; sisters, Lauren Shields and Ashleigh Lomenick, of Summerville; grandparents, Gary and Doretta Shields, of Chattanooga, and Lynn Bible, of Chattanooga; and numerous other family members.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at River Bluff Church, 5421 River Bluff Parkway, North Charleston, SC 29420. Pastors of River Bluff Church will officiate.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Noah Shields to the Ronald McDonald House, 81 Gadsden St., Charleston, SC 29401.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, North Charleston.
