Henry Harden

Jr. Henry N. Harden Jr., 87, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012, in a local hospice center. He was born, Dec. 4, 1924 in Nashville, to the late Mary and Henry Harden Sr.Mr. Harden was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran stationed at Pearl Harbor. He was formerly a member of East Brainerd Baptist Church and was retired from the United State Postal Service after 46 years of service. After retirement he worked 15 years for Bi-Lo.His wife, Doris I. Harden preceded him in death.Survivors include his son, Keith Harden; and brother, Phillip Harden, both of Chattanooga.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the East Brainerd Chapel with Rev. Art Jones officiating.Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. today and from 12:30 p.m. -1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, P.O.
