James Huitt

ROCKSPRING James Everett Huitt, 86 passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012. He was a life long resident of North Georgia and served his country in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II. James was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Dora Garner Huitt; twin brother, Joseph Edward Huitt and brothers, Lavern Huitt and Clyde Lee Huitt. He is survived by his daughter, Janice Graham, of Rock Spring; son, Robert Huitt, of Chattanooga; sister, Kitty Hawkins, of MI; brothers, Uhlan Huitt, of Fla. and Ralph Huitt, of Costa Rica; 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, all day Monday and prior to leaving for the cemetery on Tuesday. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J. Avery Bryan Chapel.
