Montine HigdonMaurice Montine Higdon, 85, a resident of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday afternoon, Aug. 5, 2012, in a local hospital.Montine was born in Columbus, Ga., on Sept. 2, 1926 a daughter of the late James William and Janie Elizabeth Higdon. Montine had moved from Georgia to make Chattanooga her home approximately 18 years ago. She was of the Baptist faith.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Gladys Beall; and three brothers, Robert Higdon, John Higdon, and Melvin Higdon.
